President Obama: Teddy Bear or Chuckie? No matter how many things you can come up with to ascribe the term “Teddy Bear” to President Obama, there is no way you cannot call him “Chuckie.” The fact that Barack Obama supports allowing babies that survive abortions to be set aside and allowed to die makes him every bit “Chuckie” and maybe worse. Take a moment and think about it. A live human being, so small, so innocent, gasping for air, left alone on a table, in the corner, in another room, out of sight, struggling to live but left to Die. Tell me that’s not cruel and inhumane. We treat our dogs and cats better. Apparently Barack Obama is okay with this. If you think it hasn’t ever happened, listen to Registerd Nurse Jill Stanek , who worked in the Labor and Delivery Room at a Chicago Hospital…..
This man (?), voted not once, not twice, but three times against Illinois’ Born Alive Infant Protection Act. At the time, State Senator Barack Obama D-IL, said he was worried it would lead to repeal of Roe vs Wade, when infact, it wouldn’t. He said it needed to mirror the Federal version of the bill. The Illinois bill was then rewritten to nearly verbatim, mirror the Federal Bill, that even Naral did not oppose……..
“Newly obtained documents prove that in 2003, Barack Obama, as chairman of an [Illinois] state Senate committee, voted down a bill to protect live-born survivors of abortion – even after the panel had amended the bill to contain verbatim language, copied from a federal bill passed by Congress without objection in 2002, explicitly foreclosing any impact on abortion. Obama’s legislative actions in 2003 – denying effective protection even to babies born alive during abortions – were contrary to the position taken on the same language by even the most liberal members of Congress. The bill Obama killed was virtually identical to the federal bill that even NARAL ultimately did not oppose,” Johnson wrote in his report.
If Obama supports what many refer to as infanticide, it goes without saying that he supported Partial Birth Abortion, another very cruel and inhumane act.
He opposed a partial-birth abortion bill in Illinois, even as the federal version passed the House with 282 votes and the Senate with 64 votes and was signed into law by President Bush in 2003. He arrived in the U.S. Senate in time to denounce the Supreme Court’s ruling upholding the ban.
In 2007, he told the Planned Parenthood Action Fund that his first act as president would be signing the Freedom of Choice Act. The act would enshrine in federal law a right to abortion more far-reaching than in Roe v. Wade and eliminate basically all federal and state-level restrictions on abortion. This isn’t a point its supporters contest; it’s one they brag about.
Rich Lowry of the National Revue On Line has written an opinion piece about “Chuckie” (Obama). Lowry titled the piece: Barack Obama the abortion extremist. Read it, you might find it interesting.
Just abortion? Afraid not. Senior citizens and those that will need high cost treatment under ObamaCare should be worried. “Chuckie,” has established an IPAB for his new healthcare plan. The IPAB will determine what will be treated and at what cost. As ObamaCare costs skyrocket, be aware that if you suffer from a disease or perhaps injury that will demand lots of money, the IPAB folks will be looking at the cost to treat vs what they feel your longevity will be in order to give the nod or death blow to your treatment. It’s quite possible you will be given pain pills instead of treatment for cure.
Remember when, during a public question and answer session some years back, Obama was asked by a young adult about treatment for some illness her grandmother had, Obama replied something to the effect that at some point we have to look at the cost benefit and that grandma may just have to be given pain pills. At first these types of decisions may be very few and far between but I would bet that within 5-10 years into ObamaCare you will see a dramatic rise in these situations. Consider that already, ObamaCare has doubled in cost and it hasn’t fully kicked in.
The following is from an Andrew McCarthy piece at National Revue On Line:
There wasn’t any question about what was happening. The abortions were going wrong. The babies weren’t cooperating. They wouldn’t die as planned. Or, as Illinois state senator Barack Obama so touchingly put it, there was “movement or some indication that, in fact, they’re not just coming out limp and dead.”
From Charles Krauthamer: “On the other hand, you have Obama who is the president who took a position on partial birth abortion which is scandalous. Pat Moynihan, the great Democratic senator from New York said it’s the equivalent of infanticide. And we have Obama who’s been a long supporter of it. That’s extremism.”
Obama or “Chuckie?” You make the call and remember, that at some point, the One’s IPAB is certainly going to make the call on you. When they do, will you concur with their decision?
